Stay at home orders are largely being followed by non essential workers.
Stores and restaurants are closed and unless you venture out the the supermarket or drug store we are pretty much staying in place.
It may not be the first thought you had in mind when all of this started but you may have discovered how warm some rooms in your home get during the daytime. This has likely increased your AC usage and as a result you have seen a spike in your electric bill.
Some rooms are too bright and watching TV during the day is also problematic.
Advanced Film Solutions solves these problems and more with the application of high tech thin films that are applied to your existing windows and sliders.
These transparent, durable coatings are effective in lowering monthly electric bills by 30% a month.
These films block light and heat while factoring out nearly 100% of harmful UV.
You can expect a lifetime of performance supported by a lifetime warranty.
Advanced Film Solutions has built a team of superior installers and we offer the best performing NFRC rated window film manufactured by Eastman Chemicals.
When the facility managers at a large Orlando complex recognized the value of a security solar window film installation on their curtain wall their initial inclination was to look at 3M.
The 3M specification indicated their 8 ML shatter film with a solar component for east and west facing glass.
Advanced Film Solutions was able to communicate the greater value for the installation of Eastman Chemical LLumar Vista Solar security film.
The advantages of the Advanced Film Solutions was higher solar filtering properties, equal or greater puncture and tensile strength and no loss in any documented independent shatter film security life safety standard.
Furthermore, the proposed and accepted attachment standard wet sealant is an industry and government accepted standard.
Advanced Film Solutions is unique in our ability to provide superior installations of window film for commercial and government buildings throughout Florida.
Our team of experts meets all our client’s requirements in terms of timeliness, as well as the desired safety improvement at the best value in the industry.
The Eastman portfolio includes 10 X the number of choices as compared to the extremely limited 3M portfolio. Here again the LLumar, Vista shatter control films never takes a step backward as directly compared to whatever 3M film is being proposed.
This level playing field based on GSA, Department of Defense, Army Corps of Engineers and building codes is our distinct advantage.
If the client’s perception is that 3M is the best choice that perception can only be based on the brand recognition rather than the actual field efficacy of the competitive films Advanced Film Solutions offers.
The same advantage holds for residential installations of solar clear or solar security combination films.

Solar control window film has been available since the 1950’s.
The evolution of thin film technology and adhesives has vastly improved over these decades as you would expect.
Today’s high teach window films are available in many iterations that provide durable high heat rejection warranted for a lifetime of comfort and reliability.
Many consumers prefer lighter coatings that are nearly invisible to cut high temperatures without altering the aesthetic appearance of their home’s windows, doors and sliders.
Stop and visit our booth at the Tampa Home Show today through Sunday at the Convention Center!
The key objective is to lower cooling costs without adding any interior or exterior reflectivity. This becomes critically important for deed restricted communities or condominium associations that prohibit reflective films.
The solution required to provide this type of heat rejection without substantially darkening the windows is the implementation of IR heat rejecting films that attack the invisible wavelengths. IR wavelengths represent nearly 50% of the total solar energy.
Since visible light wavelengths represent the balance of the total solar energy a window film that combines visible and IR filtering will provide the best value for the home consumer.
Huper Optik is available in multiple light transmissions that attack visible and IR heat.
The ceramic coatings are responsible for light filtering rather than dyes. Dyes will color migrate and fade in a short amount of time. It may also be the case where surface applied dyes are easily scratched from the film.
Petented Huper Optik is 100% dye free and the combination of visible light and IR rejection is unsurpassed in the industry.
IR heat lamp gimmicks will appear to demonstrate superior heat rejection but the sales demonstration is an illusion. Since visible light represents 50% of total solar energy any IR heat lamp demo is automatically leaving out 50% of the typical homes heat gain.
All window film works better when the sun is at an angle to the windows. There is no film that provides any additional capabilities compared to another at an angle.
Ceramic films are far more durable than dyed coatings (refer to 3M Prestige multi-layered optical films,)
